Victoria began making silver jewellery as a hobby in 1998 whilst nearing the end of her PhD in Biotechnology. Following her move to Leicestershire in 1999 to work for Mars Petcare, Victoria enrolled on a silversmithing and jewellery making evening class at Burleigh College in Loughborough so she could continue to enjoy her new found hobby and make new friends. Victoria attended these evening classes for 14 years, giving her the chance to learn lots of new techniques and to design and create many jewellery gifts for her friends and family.
In 2012 Victoria wanted to spend more time at home with her young family and decided that the perfect solution was to turn her hobby into a business and start designing and creating jewellery from home. Victoria went into a business partnership and began selling jewellery as “Karen Victoria Jewellery”. Since the beginning of 2014 Victoria is no longer in a partnership and has re-named her new business after her daughter Eve, “LovEve Jewellery”.
Hi Alice, Thank you for your kind comment :). Unfortunately I am not able to run jewellery courses at present. If you live locally im sure I can recommend a class to you. Kind regards, Vicky
Do you run any jewellery making courses at all over the summer? I love jewellery and silver work and I am looking into doing something fun and creative like this. Love your work.
Thanks,
Alice
